In addition to the many attributes of Lavender alone, our powerful base formula contains additional therapeutic properties:
- Micromel – Stringent, anti-fungal, anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-parasitic benefits allow this element of our diffusion base to work in strengthening the immune system as well. Micromel is also associated with skin care in working against acne, ring worm, athlete’s foot and warts. Diffusions can penetrate the system and have even been recently found to work with Candida albicans.
- Nerolidol– Also extracted from members of the Melaleuca family, these bring even more of the microbial and antiseptic attributes to this blend.
Lavendaire Uses
World’s Finest Diffuser! To effectively and economically use these precious essential oils, we suggest using our H2EO® AirCare ultrasonic diffusers with our pure, undiluted Lavendaire for:
- insomnia

Lavendaire is excellent as a calming, balancing and meditative oil for all emotional conditions. Lavender has long been used as an aid to sleep, making Lavendaire perfect for evening use.
When diluted in a base oil use in a <3% concentration for “rinse off” formulations and <1% concentration for “leave on” formulations.
Lavendaire is also beneficial for:

Production of Lavender Essential Oil
Lavender essential oil is produced by steam distillation of the flowering tops, resulting in a yield of 1.5% oil. Best quality lavender essential oil is composed of 35-40% linalool and another 35-40% linalyl acetate, the remainder of the oil is made up of the chemical components: a-pinene, limonene, cis-ocimene, trans-ocimene, 3-octanone, caryophyllene, terpinen-4-ol, lavendulyl acetate and little to none 1,8-cineole or camphor (poorer quality oils will often have a small percentage of these two oils).
Much of what is sold as lavender is adulterated, extended with synthetic or lesser oils, or related species can be mislabeled as being true lavender, so it pays to always buy from a known, reputable supplier.
