What is GC/MS?
Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry (GS/MS) analysis are the scientific methods employed to differentiate imposter oils from the real McCoy. Oils purity can be affected by myriad environmental factors: geographical region, altitude, climate, soil, growing conditions, harvest method and season. Even the time of day the plant is harvested can affect the oil’s purity!
Scientific analysis of GC/MS is the ideal way to insure purity and integrity.

What does this mean to you, the essential oil user?
Other labels can legally state that they are “PURE,” yet they are usually adulterated by some means including Petro-chemicals, nature identicals, and/or fractions of other chemical additives.
No Additives:
The primary components of 98% of all essential oils on the market are synthetic and shouldn’t be used for therapeutic applications. At best, synthetic oils may not produce desired therapeutic results. At worst, they could be toxic. Many oils labeled “100% pure” are not. Even “certified organic” oils may not be pure. Unfortunately, some low quality oils actually hide behind the “organic” badge.

The oils are analyzed in detail frequently, batch by batch, to ensure their purity and quality. They are free of added water, alcohol, carriers or other dilutents. No chemical solvents are added during distillation, and nothing is added to the oil after distillation.
PLEASE NOTE: There are many cheap, synthetic, or adultured aromatic oils, but these are not recommended for therapeutic use. For best results purchase the highest quality oils with transparent testing that you can possibly find. Use certified organic essential oils, or oils that have been tested and are pesticide free.
